MA Project: On the Loss of World Languages

This project is about the powerlessness of individuals as she/he faces the irresistible progress of the world. It also looks at the irretrievable loss, which would result from our ‘lack of information’, or knowing too much.
Through looking at the fact that half of the 6,912 languages spoken in the world are on the verge of extinction, this project re-examines the various aspects of language and our existence in the world, and seeks to commemorate these intangible human genius before they vanish forever.
