A collaboration between Graphic Design Communication, Interior and Spacial Design, and Curatorial and Critical Writing students at Chelsea College of Art and Design.
Concept
The shape
a. is the flat (the art work) & the ecoomist plaza (exhibition space)
b. is where the public and the personal collide
c. is the hotbed of new possibilities and connections
d. is the happening and celebration of everyday life
Everything else (the tracing paper, the white, the green, the case, the die-cut, the void…)
a. is to echo the spirit of the artwork, and the design of exhibition space
b. is to create a dreamlike, illusive experience
c. is an invitation for imagination
Design Process
stage 1 keywords: out of context, overlapping, home, entrance…
stage 2 ground plan of economist plaza; cohere graphic design with the exhibition and space
stage 3 first versions; decide to keep it simple, minimum, and whitish
stage 4 final result
